Gynecomastia
Gynecomastia is enlargement of the male breast, from excess glandular tissue, excess fat, or both. It is common, it is often present on both sides, and diet and exercise rarely change the glandular part. The operation removes the excess to restore a flat, masculine chest contour.
Which technique is used depends on what the examination finds: liposuction alone where the excess is fat, removal of the gland through a small incision at the edge of the areola where it is tissue, or both together. The exact approach, the stay in Antalya and the recovery are set out at the consultation.
